Steel Cable Clips
UseTOPpres, the clip with International Standard
ClipsTOPpres They are high standard and technological products, used to join loops or handles at the ends of the steel cable.
They are manufactured under the S-505 standard (ABNT EB - 2200), in accordance with global standards to withstand all resistance tests in accordance with the ISO 7531 standard, which classifies ties or straps at breaking load, which must be at least 90% higher compared to steel cable
With a precision manufacturing process, we chose to make forged clamps instead of seamless tubes due to their reliability and superior mechanical properties. Manufacturing using this process guarantees uniform crushing of the clips, providing security and consistency to the ties and straps.
Today, large corporations are demanding forged clips to comply with safety standards. Our products are ready to provide the perfect closure of the clips to the cables without the appearance of burrs, thus avoiding the inadequate sanding that occurs when using poor quality clips.
The ClipsTOPpres they must be prepared and assembled with appropriate molds and presses to guarantee perfect closure of the product to the cable.
First world countries opt for clips manufactured using the forging process because they are safer, more reliable and more responsible

The use of clips on steel cables in the transport, movement, storage and handling of materials is very extensive, as they are present in all areas of industry, such as commerce, port, road and air operations.
Our clips are manufactured in accordance with national and international standards. Large loads are suspended and lowered all the time, putting great monetary value and even lives at risk. Because these risks are so great, the industries that use these clips have created standards in order to control and eliminate possible accidents.
KNEADING
For the clip to knead properly, it must be assembled in accordance with standard NB-2200. The kneading of the steel cable clip must be uniform, it is a very severe process, where the clip manufacturing material undergoes great movement (flow), and in some cases it must be done in multiple pressings and with adequate lubrication.
All care is necessary, the clip must be well fitted to the end of the braid, and the dies must correspond to the diameters of the clip used.
Always use forged clamps that result in uniformity when kneading, because they have uniform wall thicknesses. The result is a homogeneous and perfect kneading of the clips to the ties, with greater resistance to breakage, guaranteeing greater safety and quality than the conventional process.
STANDARD 271
Standard 271 requires that manufacturers must ensure the quality of products through the implementation of a quality management system at least in accordance with EN ISO 9001. The quality system must comply with the requirements of the Classification Society.
It is also advisable for a manufacturer to request a Manufacturing Assessment Agreement. This assessment agreement signed, attesting to the role of the Certified Company and the manufacturer in connection with the Manufacturing Assessment and certification.
This agreement is based on the following elements:
1- A quality system certified by an accredited certification body. The Classification Society will carry out a quality audit of the system.
2- The required tests and inspections must be the standard procedures included both in the manufacturer's quality system procedures and attested by the Manufacturer's Assessment Agreement. The manufacturer must be experienced in manufacturing the products in question.
3- Assessments of certificate retention. If it is sufficiently comprehensive in scope, it can be concluded that the manufacturer can issue all product certificates. Certificate retention assessments must be carried out at pre-established time intervals. These intervals cannot exceed 12 months.

RECOMMENDED EQUIPMENT TYPES
SPECIAL PRESSES / PLIERS TYPE
The pliers press has a simpler configuration and was developed to provide great productivity in fixing clips on steel cables and other accessories.
The machine bodies are manufactured from a welded carbon steel structure oversized to withstand the high pressures offered by the hydraulic unit when pressing clips into steel cables with a diameter ranging from 1/4 to 3" inches.
The presses have upper and lower tool holder bases mounted on the jaw and the machine support base. These are presses that allow quick and easy front access for pressing clips into the ties.
SPECIAL PRESSES / TYPE C
The special design for type C presses (body with just one column) allows quick access for more efficient pressing of the clips into the loops.
All body parts are made from a single-piece alloy steel casting. They are normally equipped with automatic/manual selection, force adjustment device, adjustable stroke and a level pedal.
They are the ideal presses for working with kneading clips up to 1". 3/4, where the large frontal space makes it easier to carry out the pressing operation and changing tooling.
Typically these machines range from 1 to 600 tons and with dimensions that can vary according to the customer's needs.
SPECIAL PRESSES | TYPE 2 COLUMNS
The special design for 2-column presses allows great force capacity for larger clamps from 1" to 3"1/2, allowing quick and easy access for more efficient pressing work.
The entire body of the press is made of alloy steel cast in a single piece. The capacity of 2-column clip presses requires force from 300 MT to 4000 MT, and are equipped with automatic/manual selection, force adjustment device, adjustable stroke and a level pedal.
TRACEABILITY
Traceability is guaranteed through the NR number (Traceability Number) engraved on the body of the Clip, which guarantees consultation of the Tracking Lot records, Production Order, Inspection Report (Process) and Quality Certificates.
Any discrepancies detected by customers are transmitted through the NR'S of the parts to Esperança/TopPres and the Invoice number is informed, this way, it is possible to locate the OP number in the system and the corresponding records of the manufacturing process.
Slings and components for lifting sets must be marked in accordance with applicable standards. The identification label on the slings must comply with current regulations. Each component of the lifting assembly must be marked in such a way that it is traceable throughout the production process.
