STEEL CABLE SLEEVES
The use of wire rope loops in the transportation, movement, storage and handling of materials is very extensive, as they are present in all areas of the industry, such as commerce, port operations, road and air.
We are a family owned and operated business.
Our cleats are manufactured in accordance with national and international standards. Large loads are suspended and lowered at all times, putting large monetary value and even lives at risk. Because these risks are so great, the industries that use these loops have created standards in order to control and eliminate possible accidents.
SWAGING
In order for the clamp to properly knead, it must be assembled according to standard NB-2200. The kneading of the wire rope clamp must be uniform, it is a very severe process, where the material of manufacture of the cleat undergoes great movement (flow), and in some cases it must be done in multiple presses and with adequate lubrication.
We are a family owned and operated business.
Every care is necessary, the clamp must be firmly attached to the end of the braid, and the dies must correspond to the diameters of the clamp used.
Always use forged clips that result in uniformity when kneading, because they have uniform wall thicknesses. The result is a homogeneous and perfect kneading of the loops to the loops, with greater resistance to breakage, ensuring greater safety and quality than the conventional process.

STANDARD 271
Standard 271 requires manufacturers to ensure product quality by implementing a quality management system at least in accordance with EN ISO 9001. The quality system must comply with the requirements of the Classification Society.
It is also advisable for a manufacturer to apply for a Manufacturing Assessment Agreement. This evaluation agreement signed, attesting to the role of the Certified Company and the manufacturer in connection with the Manufacturing Evaluation and certification.
This agreement is based on the following elements:
1- A quality system certified by an accredited certification body. The Classification Society will carry out a quality audit of the system.
2- The required tests and inspections must be the standard procedures included both in the manufacturer's quality system procedures and as attested by the Manufacturer's Evaluation Agreement. The manufacturer must be experienced in the manufacture of the products in question.
3- Certificate retention assessments. If it is sufficiently comprehensive in scope, it can be concluded that the manufacturer can issue all product certificates. Certificate retention assessments must be carried out at pre-established time intervals. These intervals cannot exceed 12 months.
RECOMMENDED EQUIPMENT TYPES
SPECIAL PRESSES / PLIERS
The plier-type press is simpler in configuration and was developed to provide great productivity when fixing clips on steel cables and other accessories.
The machine bodies are manufactured in a welded carbon steel structure dimensioned to withstand the great pressures offered by the hydraulic unit when pressing clamps on steel cables with a diameter ranging from 1/4 to 3 "inches.
The presses have upper and lower toolholder bases mounted on the jaw and on the support base for the machine. They are presses that allow quick and easy frontal access for pressing of loops on the loops.

SPECIAL PRESSES / TYPE C
The special design for type C presses (body with only one column), allows quick access for more efficient pressing of the loops in the loops.
All parts of the body are made of a single piece of cast steel alloy. They are usually equipped with automatic / manual selection, force adjustment device, adjustable stroke and a level pedal.
They are the ideal presses for working with the kneading of clamps of up to 1 ". 3/4, where the large front space facilitates the performance of the pressing operation and tool change.
Typically these machines range from 1 to 600 tons and with dimensions that can vary according to the customer's needs.

SPECIAL PRESSES | TYPE 2 COLUMNS
The special design for 2-column presses allows great force capacity for clamps larger than 1 "to 3" 1/2, allowing quick and easy access for the most efficient pressing work.
The entire press body is made of one-piece cast steel alloy. The capacity of the 2 column presses for clamps requires force from 300 MT to 4000 MT, and is equipped with automatic / manual selection, force adjustment device, adjustable stroke and a level pedal.
TRACEABILITY
Traceability is guaranteed through the NR (Ratability Number) number engraved on the body of the Clamp, which guarantees to consult the Tracking Batch, Production Order, Inspection Report (Process) and Quality Certificates records.
We are a family owned and operated business.
Any discrepancies detected by customers are transmitted through the NR'S of the parts to Esperança / TopPres and the invoice number is informed, in this way, it is possible to locate the PO number in the system and the corresponding records of the manufacturing process.
Slings and components for lifting assemblies must be marked according to the applicable standards. The identification tag on the slings must be within the current regulations. Each component of the lifting set must be marked in such a way that it is traceable through the production process.
THE PRESSING
Pressing must be done with the correct tooling for each measurement. And the press must be in accordance with the diameter of the clamp to be pressed, so that the correct kneading occurs without forcing the whole set.

Special care must be taken when pressing, as the clamps must be suitable for the tools, as shown in the image, as they can cause cracks and cracks when pressing.

Qualified people are needed to make the loop, as well as its pressing, taking care to close the loop on the loop.
THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN FORGED CLIPES AND CLIPPERS MADE OF TUBE
Clips made of tubes do not follow the safety and quality standards required by the market and by Petrobras. They may show cracks, cracks, deformities and imperfections when kneading.

Forged clips have superior mechanical properties. The kneading is perfect. Unlike clamps made of tubes. The cone diameter of the tube clamps are not uniform, they have different thicknesses.

There are several types of fasteners on the market, but, essentially, only two processes to manufacture them.
1- Cleats made from a solid billet, which will be forged, giving more security and reliability to the cleat.
2- Clips made from a tube, which will be closed at the final length of the product, remaining outside the required standard.
